Twitter Introduces New Twitter Bird

Twitter has launched a simplified Twitter bird logo. Twitter says "Twitter is the bird, the bird is Twitter." Twitter says text, bubbled typefaces and the lowercase "t" are no longer being used to represent Twitter. Twitter says the bird was "crafted purely from three sets of overlapping circles - similar to how your networks, interests and ideas connect and intersect with peers and friends."
Twitter also released this short video that shows the bird materializing. Take a look:
