Amanda Congdon posted that she is leaving the popular Rocketboom vlog she hosted. TechCrunch posted that she was fired but Rocketbook producer Andrew Baron says Amanda left to explore opportunities in Hollywood.
Amanda Congdon then responded to this statement with a long post (via Matthew Ingram) accusing Andrew Baron of spreading misinformation. The post also includes a letter Amanda wrote to Andrew before he "pulled the plug on Rocketboom." In the letter Amanda states the she still owns "49% of Rocketboom."
It's a shame that one of the first and most popular vlogs has come down to this public airing of differences. Hopefully, it will somehow be resolved and then on with the show. Meanwhile, Jason Calacanis has made Amanda Congdon a public job offer.
