Say Media - the company that acquired Six Apart and then renamed itself Say Media -has acquired Dogster, a pet community and resource for pet owners.
TechCrunch notes that Dogster was originally a social network for dog owners when it launched, but it evolved into more of a content and community site following the rise of Facebook.
Say Media also acquired Catster. There is a post about the acquisition here on Catster.com.
Catster and Dogster were one of several pet social networking sites we mentioend in a post way back in July, 2006.
