A political blog, named Laws-n-Sausages, has acquired an Albany newspaper. 10 WALB reports that the company behind the blog, Knighton Media, Inc., is acquiring The Albany Journal. Blogger Tom Knighton, is the ceo of Knighton Media.
Tom Knighton says being a journalist is always something he has wanted to do. He also told 10 News that the Albany Journal is not dying and it is doing very well. Knighton did not disclose how much he paid for The Albany Journal.
